We come from a variety of backgrounds here at The Cat Oasis. Nursing, big tech, farming, ranching, retail, plus many more. We have cared for hundreds of cats in our lifetimes, but felt it was beyond time to make it official and start a sanctuary.

We love every single animal, but decided it was best to focus on a cat sanctuary as we have much more experience and knowledge pertaining to cats than other animals.

Seeing stray cats on the streets, hearing stories of people growing tired of their cats and just abandoning them out on the streets, seeing the numbers of stray cats in the greater Portland area, we just thought, enough is enough. We want every cat we are able to help, to have the best possible life they could ever imagine.

We are in the process of getting things going, so we don't have a lot of information here, but this site will be updated as soon as any new information becomes available.
